Day 59 [Fancy A Flower]

Photographed some flowers I got yesterday from some lovely friends.

I took this in macro mode and I played around with the exposure, boosted the color and dabbled in cross processing.  I am very happy with how it turned out. 

Day 58 [Scrapaganza]

Our annual Spring Scrapaganza in lieu of a scrap weekend away.

We have lots of fun, lots of laughs, lots of food and lots of drinks!

Day 57 [Zeeks]

We have become Zeek Geeks!

There is a local pizza chain in the Seattle area that my husband and I discovered last July.  Since then we have visited a few of their other area locations and now it's become a 'goal' to visit all 8 locations.  Tonight we checked off number 7 on the list, only one more to go!  We met some friends for dinner and had a great time.  The pizza is SO good.  We are not fancy pizza eaters...we are not fancy eaters period.  But the crust, OMGosh...SO good!  If you are ever in town you must find a Zeeks to eat at!

Day 56 [Sorry?]

I pulled out the Sorry! game to teach the almost 6 year old how to play.

He's at a good age where he's starting to understand how to play the more 'mature' games and we had a lot of fun!  3 games of fun!  I'm sure we'll be pulling out Sorry! again tomorrow.

Day 55 [He Returns]

He's home.

My husband.

He headed to L.A. on Monday for work.  He doesn't travel a lot for his job, but when he does I miss him terribly.  Happy to have him home!

Day 53 [Sweet Dreams]

Our new headboard we order from Pottery Barn last month arrived today. I'm so pleased with how fantastically nice this piece is.  Sleek, simple and clean lines. 

Day 52 [Trolling]

Today the husband and I played tourist in Seattle.  It's always fun to play tourist where you live...in all the years I have lived here I had never been to Queen Anne Hill before.  Fun!

We started our morning by walking around Queen Anne Hill, lunch at Zeek's Pizza near Fremont (we only have 2 more locations to visit!) and then we headed across the Fremont Bridge to take in the Fremont Troll.

Day 50 [Tuckered Out]

The little guy and I did some serious shopping today after preschool.  He literally shopped til he dropped!  = )  I think it was worth the two Hotwheels that made their way home with us.

Day 49 [SOOC]

Went to the park today.  It was a blue sky, sunshine, 50 plus degree day today.  Perfect for a walk and play at the park!  I took lots and lots of pictures I chose this one Straight Out Of the Camera to use to today's photo.  I was under the playset that he was standing on.  Thought it would make for a good photo, I think it's pretty cool.

Day 48 [Squeaky Clean]

I took advantage of the nice day to clean my horrifically dirty car.

She's so squeaky clean she looks like she got a new coat of paint! =)

Day 47 [Signs of Life]

This morning there were signs of Spring life all around me.

Birds feasting on what they can peck out of the ground and my long forgotten flower pots.  The tulips are starting to sprout and the Crocuses are blooming there ever short live blooms.  While I know that most of the US in covered in snow these days, we in the PNW are enjoying a lovely El Nino winter.  Early spring for us this year, facts of that are springing up all around us!

Day 46 [Just Call Me Flo]

Florence Nightingale that is.

I have been nursing my hubby back to health after he was attacked by a nasty head cold.  It's been a slow recovery, but I think he's making headway, or should I say breatheway.  LOL! 

I'm pretty sure the nasty bug he is fighting he caught from me as I was feeling a bit down and out late last week.  It seems to have jumped from me (lucky me!) to him (not so lucky him), as I rebounded rather quickly.
